We have several different roles with varying focus and complexity. This means we are happy to hear from you regardless of whether you are at the beginning of your career or have several years of experience in design and product development.

About the role:

As a designer/engineer, you will work in technology-intensive projects where you contribute to the development of products, systems, and solutions that make a difference. Depending on your background and interest, the role may involve work in mechanical design, product development, cabling, electronics-adjacent design, strength, calculations, simulation, or technical documentation.

You often work closely with colleagues within mechanics, electronics, systems, software, production, and testing. The role can cover the entire or parts of the development chain, from idea, concept, and design to verification, industrialization, and finished product.

Responsibilities:

• Create and further develop designs in CAD and PLM environments
• Develop technical solutions based on requirements, function, and application
• Carry out product improvements, design changes, and adaptations
• Perform or contribute to calculations, simulations, analyses, and verification
• Produce technical documentation, drawings, and materials for manufacturing
• Collaborate with production, testing, purchasing, and other technical areas
• Contribute to method, product, and process development
• Support projects with technical assessments and solution proposals

We are looking for you who:

• Have a university or civil engineering degree in mechanical engineering, product development, technical design, electronics, mechatronics, or similar
• Have at least one year of experience in design or related work
• Have a good understanding of technical systems, product development, and problem-solving
• Are accustomed to working in CAD tools, PLM, or other technical development tools
• Have good knowledge of both Swedish and English.

About the employment:

This is a consulting assignment, which means that you will initially be employed by Friday. The ambition from the client and our side is that after 6-12 months you will be directly employed by the client.
