Your Role

As a Quality Control Inspector, you will become part of a team consisting of approximately 50 employees. You will be responsible for controlling and measuring turned and milled parts on the department. The work involves ongoing handling of measuring equipment and documentation. Depending on the assignment, the work may involve manual measurement using various types of measuring tools or measurement in a coordinate measuring machine (CMM), often in combination with manual inspection, to ensure quality and precision. The role is independent, but you work in close collaboration with your colleagues and have close cooperation with several different support teams.

Main responsibilities:

• Manual inspection using measuring tools against CAD drawings/textual specifications
• Visual inspection against requirement images according to CAD drawings
• Preparation of measurement reports
• Daily contact with production support

The position is located in Tannefors and the working hours are scheduled for a 2-shift system.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have a solid technical interest and some form of basic technical competence. We see that you have good system familiarity and have very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing. It is meritorious if you have experience and/or interest in CNC, turning, or milling, as well as an interest in quality and metrology. Experience with reading drawings and CAD is also meritorious.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and are looking for someone who is meticulous, quality-conscious, and responsible. You work independently and take initiative, while also enjoying teamwork. You are receptive, communicative, and do not hesitate to ask questions when needed. Furthermore, you have the ability to follow given work instructions and ensure that your tasks are carried out in a structured and meticulous manner.

The position requires you to undergo and pass security clearance checks according to current regulations. For positions at Saab, requirements for security classification may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
