Job Description
We are now looking for an Operational Technician for Siemens Energy in Finspång, for the department that currently processes their components.
The department works with manufacturing blades and guide vanes for turbines. Finished castings are purchased from external suppliers and then processed through grinding, drilling, chamfering, and inspection. A total of approximately 50 employees work here today, divided between two managers, working in various shift patterns.
We are looking for someone who is not afraid to juggle multiple tasks and who drives initiatives and projects independently.
As a person, you are curious and interested in constantly improving processes and working methods.
We highly value knowledge and experience in programming and automation, for example, robot programming.
The work will also involve frequent use of other computer programs and systems (e.g., Office, SAP), so experience and knowledge in this area are meritorious.
As a technician, you are responsible for ensuring the right conditions to run the machine – which includes programming the cell as well as developing tools and processes. As a technician, you also have contact with various functions within the company, such as machine maintenance, design, purchasing, and quality.
As an operator, you are responsible for the daily operations in the machine – running the correct orders at the right time and with the right quality, as well as carrying out business development and machine maintenance.
You will also provide support for manual chamfering and spend part of your working day there.
The position is currently day-shift, but shift patterns may change depending on needs.
The position is located in Finspång; hybrid or remote work is not available.
