We believe that progress and opportunities are best created together. Welcome to a place where collaboration makes a difference.
Your Role
As a Production Engineer, you are a vital link between design and production. In this role, you contribute to developing production methods and working practices, while also participating in design work to achieve the lowest possible manufacturing costs without compromising on function and quality.
Your main responsibilities include creating and reviewing production documentation that describes build sequences, assembly methods, and clear work instructions. This ensures operators have the right conditions to build products efficiently and with high quality. You will also contribute to developing new technical solutions and assist in the development of efficient production systems and assembly lines based on Lean principles.
As a Production Engineer within assembly, you will work with external customers such as Boeing and Airbus, and products including cargo doors and wing structures.
Your Profile
We are looking for you with a technical university degree or equivalent knowledge. Previous experience in production engineering within the aerospace industry, or manufacturing industry in general, is advantageous. It is also an advantage if you have experience with preparation in IFS, Delmia, paced production, as well as knowledge of Catia.
As a person, you are proactive, innovative, and engaged with a desire to learn new things. The position involves many contact points, both internally and externally, which requires good collaboration skills and social competence. Since work is often done in teams, it is important that you are clear in your communication.
We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. Most important to us are your ambition and interest in production engineering. Based on your background, competencies, and ambitions, as well as our needs, we will shape a developmental role for you in our operations.
The position requires you to undergo and pass the security clearance checks according to current regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
What You Will Be Part Of
Discover endless possibilities. Take on challenges, create smart innovations, and upgrade your skills. This is a place for clever thinkers, brave pioneers, and everyone in between. Together, we achieve the extraordinary, where every unique perspective counts.
