Your Role

We are now looking for a Project Manager who wants to take a central and driving role in the work with weapon and external store integration. The position is located within Armament, a part of the Aeronautics business area, which is responsible for the integration and verification of both existing and future weapons and external stores. The area is in an exciting phase of development where the main focus in the coming years will be on work related to the Gripen.

As a Project Manager, you have a central and driving role throughout the entire integration process, where you are responsible for coordinating and leading the work between several technical areas. You act as the hub between different stakeholders and ensure that activities are driven forward in a structured and efficient manner, both internally within the company and in close collaboration with suppliers.

The work is carried out in project form and is characterized by many contact surfaces. In the role, you will collaborate closely with the aircraft's other subsystems and technical areas, such as flight technology, structural analysis, design, and procurement. This gives you the opportunity to work in a technically advanced environment where collaboration and a holistic perspective are crucial for success!

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a driven and structured project manager with an eye for detail and the ability to see the big picture. You thrive in a dynamic and international environment where collaboration, communication, and quality are central.

Communication is central to this role, and therefore we believe that you have very good communication skills as well as the ability to clearly convey project status, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders at all levels. For the role, you also need to have good problem-solving skills and the ability to proactively identify and mitigate risks.

Furthermore, you have an excellent ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and team members. The success of our projects is built on well-functioning teams where every member's contribution is invaluable!

We also believe that you have:

• A university degree in engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Experience of successful project management, preferably within a technical or aerospace industry environment.
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both oral and written.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to the current security clearance regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
