Your Role

We are now looking for an experienced Composite Designer in the field of Mechanical Engineering at Saab Dynamics in Linköping. As a Composite Designer, you will work on developing advanced composite components for Saab Dynamics' products. You will work in a small team of 5 composite designers and in close collaboration with structural analysis, materials technology, and production technology.

As a Composite Designer, you will be involved in requirement specifications, and based on this, design and develop composite components for our products by working with requirement management, specification, design, verification, and documentation. Your future tasks may range from modeling, testing, evaluating results, creating and updating drawing documentation, to providing technical expertise to other departments. We drive both large projects that require collaboration and smaller projects that require independence – and you, together with your team, are a crucial piece in our journey to create the next generation of defense systems.

Your Profile

We see that you are a civil or university engineer with extensive experience in advanced composite design. We work in CATIA/3DEXPERIENCE.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to the current regulations for security clearance. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
