About the Special Air Wing

The Special Air Wing provides air services including radar and signals intelligence, transport operations, aircraft maintenance services, and continuing airworthiness management. As a deployable unit, the Special Air Wing can be deployed with short notice for both national and international missions.

The Special Air Company

The Special Air Company is an aircraft maintenance unit organized within the Special Air Wing, based at Malmen in Linköping. The main task is to ensure the airworthiness of aircraft types Saab 340 (Aircraft 100) and Gulfstream G4 (Aircraft 102), in line with planned flight time utilization. Operations are primarily conducted at the Special Air Wing at Malmen in Linköping, but work at other locations, both nationally and internationally, may occur.

Main Responsibilities

You will perform Certificate Release to Service (CRS) according to B1 and/or B2 licenses on aircraft systems 100/102, according to the current capability list. We expect you to contribute to the efficiency of operations by improving equipment, tools, and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Completed upper secondary education
• Good verbal and written communication skills in both Swedish and English
• Category B driver's license for manual transmission
• B1 and/or B2 license
• Swedish citizenship

The position requires physical and mental fitness, travel for work, participation in training and exercises within the wartime organization. Since the position and tasks are linked to a wartime organization, you will also be assigned to wartime duties. This includes training on expectations during heightened readiness.
