The Special Helicopter Group (SHG) is a special operations unit within the Swedish Armed Forces Special Operations Forces (SOF) system, located at the Helicopter Wing in Linköping. SHG's primary tasks are to provide tactical transport capability and air support to the operational units of the SOF system. Like other units within the SOF system, SHG has high requirements for the availability of specially selected personnel, and the position places demands on the employees' operational experience as well as their educational and competency levels.

We are now looking for additional reinforcement for the staff.

Main Responsibilities

The position of HR Officer is part of the personnel section at the Special Helicopter Group (SHG). Thanks to the size of SHG, the role of HR Officer offers significant opportunities to influence the unit's personnel service routines. The management lines are short, meaning there is close proximity between decision-making and implementation.

  • Support unit managers with processing cases throughout the entire HR process; attraction, recruitment, development, separation, and veteran management.
  • Design and develop processes, routines, and templates within your own function.
  • Support unit managers and employees with payroll work and certain personnel administration tasks.
  • Represent the unit in your own function towards external collaboration areas, which may involve business travel.
  • Serve as the unit's support regarding HR reports in the Swedish Armed Forces' business management system SAP/PRIO.
  • Other tasks occur, and the work places very high demands on initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • The work is largely supported by the Swedish Armed Forces' business management system SAP/PRIO.

Qualifications

  • University education in HR or equivalent current competence that the employer deems relevant for the position.
  • Very proficient user of the Office package.
  • Good ability to express yourself both verbally and in writing.
  • Category B driver's license.

Personal Attributes

We are looking for you who are responsible, structured, and unpretentious in your work approach. You have high integrity, are trustworthy and service-oriented with good collaboration skills. You thrive in flexible work that places high demands on both initiative and independence, at times at a high pace. Working in a system where the sum of the group's effort is greater than the performance of individual parts stimulates you.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal attributes.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in working as a business-oriented support to managers within the HR field.
  • Relevant experience of HR work within the public sector.
  • Experience working in business support systems, preferably SAP.
  • Experience of independent work.

At SHG, gender equality is a matter of course. We are a unit where everyone contributes to delivering effectiveness in a high-performing team. Therefore, we welcome both female and male applicants.

For the agency's mission to be successful, it is assumed that all employees act according to the existing value base.
