We are looking for a temporary employee who wants to contribute to the European education agenda.

About the job

You will primarily work with admissions and mobility matters related to ECIU@LiU, a center at LiU whose mission is to handle questions related to the European alliance, the European Consortium of Innovative Universities. The focus is on handling students' applications for courses within ECIU University. Examples of tasks include managing communication with students, assessing eligibility, handling administrative tasks related to ECIU admissions and mobility, documenting processes, and representing ECIU@LiU in contexts relevant to both LiU and ECIU University. The work is carried out in collaboration with other employees at the ECIU@LiU center as well as teachers at LiU.

You will be part of a pleasant work group that actively drives and develops operations within ECIU University. Your area of responsibility will mainly concern issues related to students' applications for courses within ECIU University. You will plan, execute, and follow up on your work. Communication takes place in both Swedish and English. You will formulate course descriptions in collaboration with the course coordinator. Additionally, you are expected to contribute to the reception of students. The work is primarily operational and is carried out mostly on-site at LiU.

About you

You are a service-oriented person who adapts easily to changing circumstances and sees opportunities in change. We want you to be solution-oriented, proactive, and have excellent collaboration skills; the ability to collaborate with colleagues and external parties is of utmost importance. Periodically, the work is intensive, so you need the ability to plan and organize your work efficiently and set and maintain timeframes. Parallel processes are constantly ongoing, and your ability to handle this is crucial for whether you will thrive with us. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

We want you to have:

• An academic degree (3-6 years).
• Documented experience in qualified administrative work.
• Experience in teaching, pedagogical development work, or planning education at the university level.
• Very good ability to express yourself orally and in writing in Swedish and English.
• Subject competence in AI or related areas, as well as a doctoral degree, is meritorious. Experience in leading and following up on larger projects and/or digital development work is also meritorious.

Your workplace

You will be employed by the Communications and Marketing Department but will be placed at ECIU@LiU. You will be part of a work group of six colleagues who together develop, drive, and are responsible for the work within ECIU@LiU. Your workplace is located at Campus Valla in Linköping.
