Söderköping Municipality is in the midst of exciting development work aimed at assistance administrators within the elderly care sector.

The assistance administrator group currently consists of five assistance administrators, where the group has a senior assistance administrator who serves as decision support within the group. The group also includes a housing coordinator whose task is to allocate the municipality's places in special housing, respite care, and short-term accommodation.

You collaborate with several teams and have close contact with colleagues and the unit manager. You are part of a work group that works closely together, where supporting each other in daily work is second nature. As an assistance administrator with us, you have an important and meaningful job.

Job Description

As an assistance administrator, you ensure a legally secure investigation process of good quality. The work as an administrator involves independently investigating, assessing, and deciding on measures according to the Social Services Act (SoL), as well as following up and reviewing approved measures. The administration is based on the individual's needs, resources, goals, and results in different areas of life in daily life. The target group is primarily people aged 65 and older. In your work as an assistance administrator, you are expected to contribute to maintaining high quality in the operations and contribute to the achievement of operational goals. The tasks include close collaboration with users, relatives, colleagues, as well as other professions and authorities. From July 1, 2025, the new Social Services Act came into force. The new law aims to make social services more preventive, accessible, and knowledge-based, which places demands on the operations to dare to test new ways of working and then jointly handle the challenges.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a university education as a social worker or another relevant university education that the employer considers equivalent. We would like you to have experience of authority exercise in the form of administration according to SoL. Experience of investigation work according to IBIC and the operational system Lifecare is meritorious. We assume that you can handle difficult conversations and make decisions in a professional and respectful manner. You take responsibility and work independently in daily work. As a person, you should be flexible and have the ability to adapt to changes.

You must have good Swedish skills in both speech and writing.

A B-driver's license is a requirement.
