We are looking for an experienced part-time Economic Assistant to join the Economic Unit. We offer you stimulating work in a pleasant work group of 12 employees with varying tasks. The position is located in the Economic Unit, which is characterized by good cohesion and an open working climate.

Job Description

As an Economic Assistant, you will work both close to the operations and close to other staff in the Economic Unit. The work involves handling customer invoices, supplier invoices, other bookkeeping, and reconciliations. We handle all invoices in the municipality, and the tasks rotate within the group. A particular focus is on improving processes and digital flows.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have at least an economic education at the upper secondary level. You also have experience working with both customer and supplier accounts as well as ongoing bookkeeping and reconciliations. You have a few years of experience working as an Economic Assistant within a municipality, which means you can see how our processes can be streamlined and improved for users in the organization and for us in the Economic Unit. We work with the economic system Unit4 (formerly Agresso) and as a complement for water and sewage invoicing, EDP Future, as well as the decision support system Hypergene. It is an advantage if you have experience, especially with Unit4.

To be able to meet our operations in the municipality, it is good if you are good at building new relationships. You listen and understand and can put yourself in others' situations. You can plan and organize your work efficiently and ensure that your tasks are completed within the allotted time. Since the work rotates among the Economic Assistants, you can receive and hand over information so that you can continue handling cases started by someone else and that others can take over cases you have started.

You manage to handle work peaks and maintain a good mood even when there is a lot to do. You can see when we work too complicatedly and can suggest changes to make it better for the unit and for the organization as a whole. You ensure that you are up to date with knowledge about both systems and accounting issues needed to solve the tasks more smoothly.
