Document Control Administrator

Do you want a central role in a large and socially important project? We are now looking for a structured and committed Document Control Administrator who wants to ensure order, quality, and traceability in document management within a comprehensive technical project.

About the position

As a Document Control Administrator, you play a key role in the project's document management. You are responsible for ensuring that all project documentation is handled correctly, is easily accessible, and meets established requirements and procedures.

You will work closely with project management, engineering, information coordination, and other functions and sub-projects. The role also involves participation in cross-functional forums and meetings.

This is a dynamic project environment where structure, accuracy, and collaboration skills are crucial.

Your main responsibilities

• Manage and maintain project documentation according to established document control procedures
• Ensure correct storage, archiving, and access to both technical and administrative documents
• Be responsible for version control and ensure that the correct versions are available
• Update and maintain document registers and databases with high accuracy
• Coordinate document flows for submission, review, and approval between different project functions
• Support reporting, audits, and status updates related to document management
• Develop and implement project-specific procedures for document control
• Structure and classify documents to ensure easy access and traceability
• Act as the contact person for document-related questions within the project
• Support the person responsible for document control in matters related to technical documentation

Who are you?

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in document control, preferably within construction, civil engineering, or engineering projects
• Experience from larger project environments is an advantage

Knowledge

• Very good understanding of document control principles, methods, and best practices
• Good knowledge of the requirements and dependencies of project documentation
• Experience with EDMS and CDE systems, such as Aconex or similar
• Understanding of project management methodology and tools

Skills

• Very good familiarity with document management tools
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to handle large volumes of documents in a structured and efficient manner
• Excellent communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications
