As the Manager Controlling for Sales & Retail, you step right into the heart of St1's most dynamic and customer-centric business. Here, you will play a key role in a Nordic operation that is growing, changing, and driving the energy transition forward. You will be the senior performance partner in the management team - the one who transforms data into direction, challenges with courage, and leads the business toward smarter decisions and stronger results. You will lead a Nordic controller team, shape common working methods, influence strategic choices, and create real impact in a business where pace, innovation, and customer focus are natural driving forces. If you want to combine analysis, leadership, and real business impact - then this is the role where you can make a difference every day.

St1's Sales & Retail operation runs one of the most dynamic station and store networks in the Nordics, with approximately 1,200 stations and a rapidly growing network of over 300 charging stations. Here, fuels, electric charging, biogas, car washes, and convenience meet thousands of customers every day.

About the role

As the Manager Controlling Sales & Retail, you will be part of Finance and Business Control and report to the Head of Business Control Nordic. You will be a part of the Sales & Retail management team and act as a senior financial business partner for the business area in the Nordic organization. The role entails overall responsibility for financial performance management within Sales & Retail as well as leadership for a Nordic controller team with three direct reports in Sweden and Norway.

You will drive the business area's result management at a strategic level, lead planning and forecasting work, and ensure quality in monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting. The role also includes scenario and profitability analyses, closing work in close collaboration with Accounting, as well as the development and harmonization of controlling processes and KPI structure in the Nordics. The assignment involves close collaboration with Sales & Retail, Supply, and other parts of Finance and is located at the headquarters in Bromma.

Your background and profile

We are looking for someone with an academic degree in finance and solid experience in business controlling in retail or other consumer-facing businesses. You have worked closely with follow-up, forecasts, and profitability analysis in a fast-paced environment with narrow margins. You have experience leading others and are comfortable creating structure, clarity, and direction while building trust. You have experience from a Nordic or international organization and are used to working in an environment where collaboration across countries and functions is a natural part of the assignment.

You are communicative and used to presenting financial relationships in a clear and trustworthy manner. You contribute perspectives that both challenge and develop the business. As a person, you are analytical, business-driven, and unpretentious. You thrive in a role with significant responsibility where you combine independence with close collaboration and have the ambition to grow further in line with the business. You express yourself fluently in both Swedish and English, in speech and writing.

We offer

At St1, you are involved in what happens and have the opportunity to influence. We work closely together with short decision-making paths and a clear business focus. Here, responsibility and development are combined in an organization characterized by collaboration and open dialogue. Our values - fairness, sustainability, and equal opportunities - permeate how we work. Our Spirit describes how we meet each other and our surroundings: curious, engaged, and caring. You will become part of an energy company in development, where you can grow in your role and contribute to both business and transition.
