About the job
The position of Division Controller is a permanent position located in the Administration Division, within the Unit for Operational and Financial Governance. We are a dynamic and active unit working to develop and streamline Sida's overall governance and management. We work in teams, and you will be part of the team responsible for planning and follow-up towards Sida's four support divisions.
As a Division Controller, you advise and support managers in maintaining an effective control environment. The role involves coordinating the division's financial governance within the framework of Sida's annual cycle and continuously monitoring the division's financial results. You contribute to change and follow-up work through analysis and suggestions for improvements.
You will belong to the administrative division. You will work at our office in Rissne.
Responsibilities
- Financial governance and follow-up at the division level.
- Ensure internal governance and control within the divisions.
- Act as a support to division management in various financial matters.
- Develop operations, processes, and tools together with the team.

Qualifications
Education
- University degree in Business Administration, or another academic education deemed relevant by the employer.
Languages
- Good level of Swedish in writing and speech.
- Good level of English in writing and speech.
Work experience and knowledge
- A few years of experience in controlling or similar qualified economic roles, where you have worked with budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
- Experience in internal governance and control.
- Good experience in data-driven analysis.
- Very good ability and knowledge to handle the spreadsheet program Excel.
- Experience in facilitating processes and meetings.

Merits
- Experience in public sector governance.
- Leadership experience, e.g., team leader, project manager, or leading assignments.
- Experience in economic and operational governance as well as quality assurance within public or private operations.
- Experience in financial governance and in analyzing, compiling, and reporting to different recipient groups.
- Experience working in the financial sector.
- Experience in risk management.

The position is a permanent employment. Probationary period applies.
Start date: 2026-09-01 or as agreed.
