The Upper Secondary School and Labour Market Administration is responsible for labour market initiatives, financial assistance, reception of newly arrived refugees and quota refugees, as well as upper secondary school, adult education, and holiday practice.

About the position

We are looking for a competent, driven, and curious Controller for the Upper Secondary School and Labour Market Administration. We offer you stimulating work in an engaged work group with mixed areas of expertise.

The position is located in the Department of Economy and Administration, a support function within the administration. The visiting address is Paradistorget 14, Huddinge.

We are responsible for economic processes, economic steering, and administration within the administration. We provide support to managers and employees and produce materials for the administration management, board, and municipal leadership.

You are offered varied work where you, together with colleagues, are responsible for both recurring periodic tasks (budget, monthly accounts, interim reports, etc.) as well as analysis and development work. The work includes support to managers and employees, as well as producing reports and analyses and contributing to the development of the administration's overall steering.

The work also involves proactively and in collaboration with others, both within and outside the own administration, developing working methods, processes, routines, and reporting. Huddinge Municipality and the administration are carrying out extensive change and development work, which means that tasks may change over time.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have relevant university or college education, with at least a bachelor's degree. You have experience of corresponding tasks, preferably within public operations and the education sector.

You are pedagogical, careful, and persistent in your work. You are driven by working with improvements and development of operations and share your ideas. You are attracted to having a common way of working with colleagues. The role requires that you are proactive and results-oriented.

In Huddinge, we work with the ERP economic system, but from 2027 we will work in Raindance. You have high computer literacy and IT maturity, master Excel effortlessly, and can work in external IT systems, for example with authorities.

As a person, you are task- and results-oriented, with good communication and analytical skills. You can coordinate, prioritize, and find it easy to build good relationships. You have a good ability to independently solve complex tasks.

The administration's support functions are relatively small. For this reason, every employee is a key person, and you need to be able to take on new tasks over time and be able to identify which tasks need to be prioritized.

Meritorious is experience of income-financed operations.
