Job Description

As a Business Developer and Analyst, you work at the intersection of operations, IT, and the development team. Your task is to ensure and quality-assure that the decision support solution meets the business's needs and requirements. You are expected to handle large datasets, understand complex patterns, and act as a link to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Your main responsibilities:

• Requirements Management & Analysis: Work closely with the business to understand analysis requirements and translate these into concrete, functional solutions.
• User Support & Training: Responsible for user support, incident management, and training initiatives in existing Power BI standard reports, their information supply, and surrounding systems.
• Data Quality: Collaborate closely with both the business and IT operations/development teams to ensure high data quality in the existing data warehouse solution.
• Improvement Work: Analyze incoming questions, problems, and needs to identify patterns and initiate and drive improvement or decommissioning initiatives.
• Collaboration: Coordinate and collaborate cross-functionally with the entire organization as well as external operations and development partners.
• Testing: Plan, structure, and conduct relevant tests in the data warehouse.

Required qualifications

• Good experience with analysis models in a data warehouse and experience from joint decision support across a whole business area.
• Basic knowledge of Power BI Report Server (on-premise) for analysis and reporting.
• Documented experience of analyses within banking and insurance with a clear focus on customer engagement.
• Very good ability to communicate and collaborate in large, complex organizations with many stakeholders, as well as the ability to translate complex business needs into concrete improvement proposals.
• Ability to work completely independently and structured, with a deep understanding of the importance of details and quality in an analysis.

Desirable qualifications

• Experience in agile development work and habit of working in train structures according to the SAFe framework.
