Job Description
We are now looking for a Payroll Administrator for Scania Sweden for an exciting consulting assignment via Jefferson Wells. You will become part of the Payroll function within People Services Sweden and work with the entire payroll process – from new hires and changes to terminations, absence, and ongoing payroll administration.
The role involves close collaboration with employees, managers, payroll specialists, and external parties to ensure accurate, efficient, and high-quality payroll management. You will also contribute to improvement initiatives within digitalization, automation, and process development.
Start: August 2026 (or as agreed)
End: January 31, 2027, with possibility of extension
Scope: Full-time
Location: Södertälje (hybrid, 3 days in the office per week)
Who is the right fit?
We are looking for you who have experience in payroll administration and thrive in a service-oriented role with many contact surfaces. You are meticulous, responsible, and have a genuine interest in payroll issues and regulations.
We are looking for you who have
- Higher Vocational Education (YH) in payroll or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in end-to-end payroll administration combined with payroll education, or alternatively 5 years of experience within payroll.
- Experience with the payroll system SD Worx.
- Good knowledge of laws and regulations within the payroll area.
- Very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Personal qualities
- Structured and meticulous.
- Service-oriented and solution-focused.
- Responsible and self-motivated.
- Communicative and cooperative.
- Quality-conscious with a strong customer focus.
Meritorious
- Experience with several different collective agreements.
- Experience with the Technical Agreement (Teknikavtalet).
- Experience from larger organizations or international companies.
- Experience in process development or digitalization projects.
