Your new role

We are now looking for a sustainability strategist who wants to contribute to developing and strengthening sustainability efforts at one of Sweden's leading players in the insurance industry.

Our client is in an exciting phase of development where strategic sustainability work is further developed to create even greater business value and meet new regulatory requirements.

The assignment offers a varied daily routine where you will work both operationally and strategically with issues related to sustainability governance, risk management, and implementation of new regulations. The tasks may change over time depending on the business's priorities and needs.

In the role, you may be responsible for:

  • Developing methodology for assessing significant sustainability risks (DVA).
  • Project managing the creation of a sustainability risk plan according to the review of Solvency II.
  • Ensuring collaboration between ORSA, materiality analysis, and the sustainability plan.
  • Implementing identified sustainability risks into the company's risk system.
  • Contributing to the development of strategic sustainability work based on changed regulatory requirements.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment as a consultant via JobBusters.
Work model: Hybrid

End: 2027-01-31, with possibility of extension

To be successful in this role, you need

  • Several years of experience in strategic sustainability work.
  • Good knowledge of sustainability regulations and regulatory requirements within the finance or insurance sector.
  • Experience in risk management, governance, and implementation of sustainability-related processes.
  • Documented experience in leading projects and driving change work.
  • Ability to work both independently and in close collaboration with different parts of the business.
  • Very good communicative skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.
