The Assignment

Do you want a meaningful job where you really make a difference? We are now looking for a secure and engaged personal assistant for a 30-year-old man who lives close to nature in his own cabin on his parents' farm in Alingsås. There are sheep, dogs, and cats here – a calm environment for you who appreciate proximity to nature.

A driver's license and access to a car are required as the residence is a bit away from public transport. Driving is also part of the work.

About the Man

The man lives with autism and epilepsy and needs support in his entire daily life. On weekdays, he is at day activities between 09:00–15:00.

In his free time, he enjoys being involved in cooking, participating in planned activities, and having a daily life with clear structure. Weekends are preferably spent outdoors in nature, by taking a walk or having coffee together with his assistant.

Who Are You?

You are secure, self-reliant, and take initiative. We would like you to be an active person with a genuine interest in cooking, as you will cook together during your shifts.

The job requires that you are structured and comfortable with clarifying pedagogy and fixed routines.

Requirements and Merits

• Requirements: Driver's license and access to a car
• Desirable: Experience with autism

About the Position

Part-time employment for the duration of the assignment, 68% with varying working hours. Weekday shifts are usually 15:15–08:55 or 15:15–21:15. Weekend shifts can be 09:00–15:00, 15:00–09:00, or 24-hour shifts.
