Do you want to work in a small municipality with big opportunities?
You are warmly welcome to join us at Munkedal Municipality!
Munkedal Municipality is located in northern Bohuslän, between Oslo and Gothenburg. Here, forests, rivers, and the sea meet, and distances between people and results are short. At our workplace, you work closely with both colleagues and operations, with the opportunity to influence and make a difference in everyday life. We build on what is already strong and develop what makes people want to live, work, and thrive here. Development is created through interaction between residents, businesses, associations, and the municipality. This means that as an employee, you drive change together with others. We work with people's well-being in focus, aiming for Munkedal Municipality to be a place where people enjoy living and want to recommend.
The Welfare Administration's task is to help people who, due to age, disability, economic or family problems, need various forms of support and assistance. The Welfare Administration consists of three departments: Care and Support, Support, and IFO (Individual and Family Care). The Care and Support department consists of units within elderly care, home care, and municipal primary healthcare. The Support department covers LSS (Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). The IFO department consists of social services, the employment unit, social psychiatry, and the assistance unit.
The Adult Unit
Individual and Family Care consists of several units, of which IFO Adult is one. IFO Adult, in turn, consists of the dependency group and the social assistance group. In the dependency group, three people work: one full-time in treatment, one with a shared role directed towards treatment and official decision-making regarding harmful use, and a third role responsible for official decision-making regarding harmful use and social psychiatry.
Our colleague who works with official decision-making regarding harmful use and social psychiatry is moving on to another position, so we are looking for a new colleague to our unit. You are warmly welcome to become part of our dedicated team and help create positive change in Munkedal Municipality!
Job Description
