ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Kura Omsorg are currently looking for several personal assistants for our client in Töreboda. We offer a permanent night shift position of approximately 75–80% as well as a casual hourly position. The work covers both weekdays and weekends. The client has been granted double assistance, which means you will always work with a colleague.

The working hours are scheduled as follows, permanent night shift:

• 22:00 – 08:00 awake night

The working hours are scheduled as follows, hourly substitute:

• 08:00 – 16:00
• 16:00 – 22:00
• 22:00 – 08:00 awake night

Start date and introduction will be agreed upon, preferably immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a 7-year-old boy who lives at home with his parents and younger brother. He has epilepsy and uses aids such as a wheelchair, a cough machine, and tube feeding. As a personal assistant, you will be an important part of the boy's daily life and support him with:

• Daily routines and transfers
• Assistance with personal hygiene and dressing/undressing
• Tube feeding and use of medical technical aids
• During night shifts, you will maintain active supervision and provide support as needed, for example, with medication and transfers.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid driver's license and access to a car to commute to and from work

• Previous experience working in healthcare
• Experience working with epilepsy

Employment level: Approx. 75–80% or hourly substitute

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record register. From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply, meaning the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record register and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order in good time.
