Temporary Adult Pedagogue for Open Care.
The position is expected to last for approximately six months with the possibility of extension. Here you get the chance to work in an operation where collaboration, development, and the individual's needs are at the center. At Open Care, you will meet a positive and supportive work climate where we continuously support each other methodologically and create space for joint reflection, whether we work with children or adults. This gives you good opportunities to both deepen and broaden your competence within the different areas of responsibility of social services.
Open Care is the operational unit for social services and offers a broad range of interventions, including within child and family services, parental support, social vulnerability, domestic violence, and housing-related issues. Our work always starts from the individual's needs and is based on close cooperation between different professional competencies, which enables tailored solutions for each client. Together with the individual, we draw up implementation plans that guide the continued work towards jointly set goals.
Job Responsibilities
As a temporary adult pedagogue, you are an important link between the social secretary and the individual and contribute to structure and continuity in the support. You work closely with adults facing various challenges in everyday life, such as mental health issues, substance abuse problems, neuropsychiatric diagnoses, or difficulties regarding housing situations. The support is both practical and pedagogical, and you work in a motivational way to strengthen the individual's own abilities and promote sustainable change. The assignment includes collaboration with actors such as the Swedish Public Employment Service, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, the Swedish Migration Agency, as well as healthcare.
The work starts from the individual's needs and takes place where it has the best effect, for example in consultation rooms, in the home, or in contact with other authorities. You are responsible for drawing up and following up on implementation plans based on assistance decisions according to the Social Services Act (SoL), which is central to quality assurance, follow-up, and evaluation of interventions. You have close dialogue with social secretaries at the authority where you together ensure that interventions meet the requirements of the new Social Services Act and create the best possible conditions for the individual's development.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a university education as a social worker, social pedagogue, behavioral scientist, or other equivalent education that the employer considers relevant. Experience working with socially vulnerable groups, mental health issues, ADHD/ASD (NPF), and substance abuse problems is meritorious. You have good pedagogical skills, work in a structured and flexible manner, and thrive in a motivational and solution-focused working style.
You express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish and have good computer skills as the work involves social documentation. It is meritorious if you have education and experience in MI (Motivational Interviewing), RP (Relapse Prevention), and HAP (Hashish Abstinence Program).
