We are now looking for a District Ambassador for the Working Life Administration and Framtidstorget! Do you want to make a difference in the lives of young people through an exciting new initiative?

We are now looking for an engaged District Ambassador to join our team working with Framtidstorget – a facility that offers young adults support regarding work and education. As a District Ambassador, you will play a key role in building relationships, marketing the facility, collaborating with local actors, and supporting young adults on their path to work and education.

The Working Life Administration organizes socially important activities within social services and the labor market, working with a clear goal to enable as many residents of Borås as possible to achieve and approach self-sufficiency and the right kind of livelihood. The administration has approximately 240 employees and is responsible for and finances around 350 labor market political positions.

Framtidstorget is a physical meeting place located in Hässleholmen, Hulta, and Norrby, where young adults are supported with preparations for work, finding the right education, or receiving assistance in contacting various departments of Borås Municipality. We collaborate closely with associations, companies, and other actors in the area to create a relevant and inclusive activity. Framtidstorget is co-financed by the European Union, which enables a broadening of efforts and activities. Here, you will become part of a team with colleagues who have different competencies and experiences, all sharing a strong commitment to our target group.

As a District Ambassador, you will become a local ambassador for Framtidstorget and an important link to the local area. In this role, you will focus on building trust, creating participation, and contributing to more young adults finding their way to work and studies.

You will market Framtidstorget and its purpose in an inspiring and accessible manner. Furthermore, you will spread information about the facility's activities to young people, local actors, and partners. Through your presence and engagement, you will motivate young adults to participate in Framtidstorget's activities, while also capturing their ideas, needs, and feedback.

As a District Ambassador, you will represent Framtidstorget at local events and arrangements, both as an inspirer and information carrier. You will contribute to welcoming hospitality by being present, answering questions, and providing support when needed. The role also includes participating in the staffing of Framtidstorget's drop-in activities.

The work will primarily take place during daytime hours, but evenings and weekends may occur.

We are looking for someone who is studying a post-secondary education and who has the opportunity to combine their studies with this assignment of approximately eight hours per week. Additionally, you have good local knowledge of one of the areas: Hässleholmen, Hulta, or Norrby. Your knowledge of the area and its networks gives you a natural understanding of young people's daily lives and the opportunities available locally. It is desirable if you have experience or engagement within association life, as this often contributes to valuable contacts and a good understanding of local collaboration. It is an advantage if you are interested in and have knowledge of marketing.

We would appreciate it if you are multilingual and confident in communication. You have a good command of Swedish in both speech and writing and can express yourself clearly in various contexts.
