to apply for the job
We are currently looking for you who want to become part of our wonderful team and work as a personal assistant for our client in Herrljunga.
What does this role involve?
As a personal assistant, you work to help the client in their daily life, ranging from personal hygiene to household chores and activities. You are there when the client's functional limitations set boundaries.
Working hours at the client's place are evenings, nights (with waiting time), and weekends.
The job does not require specific healthcare education, although it is an advantage. It is important that you have the skills your client requires and that there is good chemistry between you. It can be just as important that you enjoy walking and can cook as it is that you have healthcare training. We would like you to be accustomed to working independently, have good initiative and teamwork skills, and be a good listener.
We would like you to:
- have a genuine interest in helping others.
- be able to understand and communicate in Swedish.
- be sensitive, patient, and responsible.
- have a B-class driver's license and a car.
- be able to work flexible hours – day, evening, night with on-call duties and weekends.
- have experience with autism or Down syndrome (this is a plus, but not a requirement).
Additional Information
Employment Type: For the duration of the assistance assignment
Scope: approx. 60–70 %
Working Hours: Varied times (evening, night, and weekend)
Start Date: August, with the possibility of starting earlier
We offer individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Personal suitability will be given great weight.
In the event of employment, you must be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden, by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EEA or a valid work permit.
Application Deadline: 2026-07-25
