At Nordin Assistans, we are now recruiting staff for one of our child clients. She lives together with her parents and siblings. As a personal assistant, you will become an important part of the girl's daily life – both at home and during activities.

This role involves comprehensive care and supervision responsibilities, where you as an assistant need to be present, attentive, and confident in your role.

Working hours are scheduled on weekdays and weekends as follows:

Weekdays:

• 17:00 – 23:00
• 23:00 – 07:15

Weekends:

• 09:00 – 17:00
• 17:00 – 23:00
• 23:00 – 09:00

We are looking for someone who sees this as a long-term job and wishes to work at least 20 hours per week. We view this as a long-term collaboration. Introduction can start immediately upon agreement.

The work may also be located in other areas. Therefore, we would appreciate it if you are willing to travel for shorter trips.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

You will be working with a 12-year-old girl who enjoys singing, playing, and swimming. She appreciates safety and presence around her.

The client has extensive care needs. You need to have experience with intellectual disability, nutritional problems, visual field defects, and epilepsy.

This means that as an assistant, you are responsible for both basic care and medical tasks. She needs help with:

• Personal hygiene, dressing/undressing, and meals
• Mobility and medication administration
• Communication and social interaction
• Daily routines at home

She uses assistive devices such as a feeding tube and a walking frame.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We are looking for you who have experience working with children and enjoy doing so. As a person, you are sensitive, calm, secure, and responsible, and you feel comfortable with a role involving extensive care and supervision responsibilities.

Since the girl has significant care needs, you must be meticulous, attentive, and have the ability to act confidently even in situations requiring quick decisions.

Requirements

• Very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• Previous experience working as a personal assistant or other care experience.

Meritorious experience

• Experience with epilepsy
• Experience with tube feeding (PEG)
• Experience working with children
• Non-smoker and drug-free

Salary: We apply salary according to the Fremia Collective Agreement.
