I am a 45-year-old man living in my own home on Västra Hisingen. I have a severe intellectual disability and traits of autism. For me, structure, routines, and predictability are important parts of daily life that create security and well-being. I am an active person who enjoys being outdoors – walks are a natural part of my day, regardless of the weather.

About You

I am looking for you who are calm, secure, and patient, and who thrive in a role where relationship and continuity are in focus. You have the ability to follow established routines but can also be flexible when the situation requires it. You are observant, can read needs, and feel confident in making your own decisions to provide the right support in the moment.

Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum is an advantage, but personal suitability is crucial.

Responsibilities

As a personal assistant, you will support me with all aspects of daily life, such as:

• personal care and hygiene
• dressing and undressing
• cooking and household chores
• getting up and going to bed
• walks and other activities

The work can be physically demanding. Night work is available in the form of sleeping on-call duty.

We would like you to:

• have a genuine interest in working with people with disabilities
• be empathetic, responsible, and professional
• have good collaboration skills and be able to communicate well with both colleagues and relatives
• be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written
• be flexible, proactive, and self-assured

Previous experience as a personal assistant is an advantage, but we place the greatest emphasis on personal suitability.

About the Position

• Scope: Part-time, approx. 70%
• Working hours: Day, evening, weekend, and sleeping on-call duty
• Start date: Immediately
