Personal Assistant Wanted for a Happy and Curious 9-Year-Old Girl

About the Position

The work is characterized by close collaboration, continuity, and a structured approach. As a personal assistant, you will become an important part of the girl's daily life and contribute to creating safety, participation, and quality of life.

You will help with personal care, meals, medication, hygiene, communication, play, and leisure activities. The client has extensive care needs and uses an eye-controlled computer as a communication aid.

The work is performed where the client is located – at home, at school, during hospital visits, and at other activities. The client lives alternately with her parents, meaning the work takes place in both the mother's and father's homes. There is also a dog in the family, so you should be comfortable around pets.

We are looking for someone who can combine responsibility and safety in medical situations with playfulness, creativity, and genuine engagement. It is just as important to be able to follow routines and instructions as it is to build train tracks, laugh, and discover the world together with the client.

We are looking for someone who

• Is empathetic, calm, and has great patience.
• Is responsible and confident in your interactions.
• Has good teamwork skills and can work in a structured manner.
• Is flexible and can adapt to different situations and needs.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written (meritorious but not a requirement).
• Has experience in personal assistance, care, or social services (meritorious but not a requirement).

Employment Type

We are looking for a substitute on an as-needed basis who can work when regular assistants are absent due to vacation, illness, or other leave.

Working hours vary and can be scheduled during the day, evening, night, and weekends depending on the client's needs. The number of shifts may therefore vary over time.

We are looking for someone who is flexible and has the opportunity to step in with relatively short notice when needed.
