The Welfare Administration's task is to help people who, due to age, disability, financial, or family problems, need various forms of support and assistance. The Welfare Administration consists of three departments: Care and Support, Support Services, and IFO (Individual and Family Care). The Care and Support department includes units within elderly care, home help services, and municipal primary healthcare. The Support department covers LSS (Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). The IFO department consists of social services, the labor market unit, social psychiatry, and the assistance unit.

Job Description
As a support assistant for our service housing in Munkedal Municipality, you will have a unique opportunity to make a difference in people's lives every day. In this role, you will work closely with individuals with special needs and help them achieve their individual goals and wishes. Your work will involve planning and carrying out daily activities to promote independence and quality of life. You will provide support and guidance in both daily chores and social interaction, creating a safe and structured environment where every individual can thrive and develop. The role also includes monitoring each individual's development and well-being to adapt support measures to their needs. You have a strong commitment to the target group and good collaboration skills, and you actively contribute to a learning work climate by sharing your experiences and absorbing new knowledge.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who
- have a degree from the nursing program or another education that the employer considers equivalent.
- have good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, to be able to perform safe care with high quality and meet our users' needs based on both implementation plans and emerging situations.
- hold a valid B-driver's license.
- are trained as a nurse assistant/support assistant with a focus on disabilities (meritorious).
- have experience working within LSS or care and support (meritorious).
