About the job

As one of our employees moves on to a new assignment, we are now looking for a Development Manager in Safety and Crime Prevention at the Social Services Administration Northeast.

As a Development Manager in Safety, you work to increase the sense of security for residents in the Northeast urban district. Together with colleagues, you will be responsible for coordinating local area development where several actors collaborate in crime prevention and safety-building work. Your role is to drive and follow up on processes. Within the framework of the collaboration model 'Safe in Gothenburg', we create local situation reports, conduct cause analyses, and initiate measures together with other actors operating in the area.

The work is flexible and requires that you can keep many processes going simultaneously. The work involves a strong focus on collaboration with other societal actors. The position is both strategic and operational.

Qualifications

You who apply must have a relevant academic education such as criminologist, social worker, sociologist, or equivalent as assessed by the employer. Knowledge and experience in crime prevention work are required. It is meritorious if you have experience of similar work in public administration and if you are multilingual. It is also meritorious if you have good local knowledge of the Northeast urban district.

We are looking for you who are proactive, results-oriented, and enjoy collaborating with others. You have strong communication skills, you can create engagement, and you are accustomed to meeting groups in the role of coordinator and chairperson. Furthermore, you are structured and analytical.
