Do you want to work with people? Then we have the job for you.

In the Disability Support department, you work with everything from home care to supporting individuals at their workplaces, in leisure activities, or in creative environments such as theater and music. Support in daily life is the foundation – but needs vary. Regardless of the assignment, the goal is always the same: to strengthen people's independence and quality of life.

What is a disability?

A disability is a reduced physical, mental, or intellectual ability. It can be congenital or acquired later in life and can be visible or invisible. Every person is unique – with their own abilities, needs, and strengths – and this is what makes the work both meaningful and developmental.

Our operations

We are recruiting for several operations within disability support:

  • Housing with Special Support (BmSS) – 24/7 operation.
  • Day Activity Centers – habilitation and work-oriented activities during the day.
  • Supported Housing – support in the user's home environment, primarily during the day but also evenings and weekends.
  • Short-term housing for adults – time-limited support and care for adult users.

Placement is based on the needs of the operations and your previous experience.

Job Responsibilities

The work varies depending on the operation, but may include:

  • Educational support in daily life
  • Personal care
  • Cooking, laundry, and other daily chores
  • Activities and social support
  • Documentation and medication management according to delegation

Challenging and self-harming behaviors may occur in some of our operations.

Temporary Agency Work:

As a temporary agency worker, you work as needed and log your availability yourself. Working hours vary between day, evening, weekend, and night depending on the operation.

Qualifications

You who apply for the position with us must be at least 18 years old, in accordance with regulations on the working environment for minors AFS 2023:2 Chapter 6, sections 5, 6, and 8 regarding solo work.

Communication is an important part of the work, which requires that you have passed Swedish 1 or Swedish as a Second Language 1. If you do not meet the qualification requirements in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a Second Language 1, you may be offered to take a language test through the test provider Educateit.

If you are educated as a support assistant, assistant nurse, or have another education that the employer considers equivalent, or alternatively have ongoing education within healthcare and social care, pedagogy, or social work, this is meritorious. It is also meritorious if you have experience working within healthcare and social care, pedagogy, or social work.

We are looking for you who take responsibility for your tasks and the group's tasks. You think about those we are here for and their best interests. You do your best to complete all tasks correctly and follow up on how it went.

You are friendly and helpful to other people even in stressful situations. You show respect for everyone you meet at work. You are inviting and positive. You work to ensure that the student/client/user gets what that person needs.

You are calm and secure in pressured and difficult situations. You can balance the demands placed on you and can make well-founded decisions despite time pressure.
