Description
Social operations has a resource team to cover absences within LSS activities (disability services) and elderly care. This ensures that users receive continuity and familiar staff, increasing security for both users and employees.
We are now specifically looking for you who are interested in performing tasks within home care services and elderly care. Since the work primarily takes place within home care, it is particularly important that you have a B-driver's license and feel comfortable working independently in users' homes.
Job Responsibilities
The resource team's task is to staff vacant shifts within elderly care and disability services. Depending on your education, experience, and interest, there are opportunities to work in various operations. The work begins with shadowing at the relevant workplaces.
You will be covered by annual working hours, meaning the working time may vary between months. Staffing is based on your preferences for working hours when you are booked for vacancies, but bookings and changes may occur with short notice. Working hours include day, evening, night, and weekends, and you must be able to work all types of shifts. Due to the flexibility required in the tasks, a flexibility allowance is added, resulting in a higher salary.
Social documentation is done in the LifeCare documentation program.
Working in the resource team means you may work at several different workplaces. For example, you might cover for a colleague on vacation or step in where staff is sick for a short period. You will work with various colleagues and meet different users, requiring flexibility and the ability to feel secure in new situations.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are educated as an assistant nurse, have completed the child and youth program with a focus on disabilities, or have other education that the employer deems equivalent. Previous experience in the field is an advantage. A B-driver's license is a requirement for the position.
You have a strong interest in working with people. You are computer literate, experienced with documentation, creative, and work in a low-affective manner. Since communication and documentation are important parts of the operation, the job requires that you master the Swedish language in both speech and writing. As a person, you are positive, receptive, engaged, and outgoing, with the ability to work pedagogically, solution-focused, and independently.
It is important that you are flexible and enjoy working at different workplaces with different people. To provide our customers with good and safe care, you need to have a good attitude and a positive view of humanity. Other important qualities are your ability to create professional relationships, your good initiative, and your ability to work independently and make your own decisions.
Conditions
According to Law (2013:852), the final candidate must present a certificate of good conduct from the Swedish Police Authority, no older than six months. Employment may not begin until the certificate has been presented.
Probationary employment with start date according to agreement. The selection process and interviews take place continuously during the application period.
