We are looking for a Community Coordinator!

Do you want to help create more opportunities for people to meet, feel well, and feel included?

The Social Services Administration is now seeking an engaged Community Coordinator who wants to work preventively to reduce loneliness and strengthen the quality of life in the municipality.

In this role, you will help develop activities and meeting places where people of different ages and life situations can meet. You will work both strategically and practically, collaborating with associations, civil society, and the business community to create a vibrant and inclusive society.

Responsibilities

As a Community Coordinator, you play a key role in coordinating and developing preventive work in the municipality by:

  • Identifying needs for activities and initiatives and helping to realize them together with various stakeholders.
  • Building and developing collaborations with associations, organizations, and other actors.
  • Serving as a link between the municipality, external partners, and residents.
  • Actively working to ensure more people can participate in activities based on their own conditions.
  • Contributing to spreading information about activities in a clear and accessible manner, both digitally and in print.

The goal is to make it easier for people to find community and feel included.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a relevant university degree or equivalent experience.
  • Is self-motivated and takes responsibility for your work.
  • Has a talent for building relationships and collaborating with others.
  • Communicates clearly, listens attentively, and acts professionally.
  • Is digitally competent and expresses yourself well in writing.

Experience working within any of the Social Services Administration's areas is considered an advantage.
