The Social Services Department is currently in the midst of a major project to change the business system from Treserva to Combine. The project has been ongoing since 2025, and we are looking for you who are an experienced and proactive project manager to support the remaining part of the project. The position is located within the Social Services administration, where you will become part of a pleasant team of 15 people defined by curiosity, good cooperation, and great helpfulness towards everyone. Together, we solve the task of supporting the many operations of the Social Services in the best possible way. Our unit consists of mixed ages, experiences, men, and women, and we will all take responsibility to ensure that you feel welcome. Standard office hours form the basis of your position, but you plan and carry out your assignment largely together with your colleagues and with freedom under responsibility, with the possibility of flexible working hours and remote work. Your main workplace will be in the municipal building in Mölnlycke center.

Your assignment

The project manager role is a temporary expansion of the organization with the purpose of strengthening the project's implementation and ensuring that changes in systems and working methods are implemented in a structured and sustainable way. The introduction of the new business system is expected to be completed during the spring of 2027. The project has gone live with two out of three partial implementations, and your main task is to project manage the third partial implementation, which targets care and social services, support for disabilities, the adult unit, as well as health and medical care. In addition, it is also part of your assignment to support the operations that have already gone live based on any remaining issues.

Your assignment will include both overarching project management, such as time and activity planning, delegation of tasks, preparing and holding meetings, following up on status and risks, etc., as well as more targeted support in certain parts of the implementation. You are expected to have an overall overview of all parts of the project, its scope, and to maintain good ongoing communication with sub-project managers, system administrators, super users, the municipality's IT function, steering group, client, and the relevant system supplier. You are accustomed to moving in the borderland between systems and operations and have a good ability to connect the system's possibilities with the operations' needs.

Requirements for the position

You who apply for the project manager position should have relevant education and experience in similar assignments. You need to have a good understanding of how systems work in themselves and also how they affect an organization and the people who are to work in the system. You have both education and experience in project and process management as well as change management.

As a person, you have the will and ability to collaborate with many different people and professions. You are structured, curious, responsible, driven, and can also work independently. You have a strong interest in development and a good ability to coordinate different situations and tasks. You are solution-oriented and are accustomed to, and good at, helping people see solutions rather than stopping at problems. You are an experienced Teams user with a good ability to create engagement in both digital and physical or hybrid meetings.

If you have work experience in the public sector and in social services in particular, it is a big plus. Having knowledge of current legislation and terminology regarding social services operations will facilitate the assignment for you. If you do not have this experience, we expect that you instead have a great interest in immersing yourself in this area of knowledge. If you have previous experience with the business system Combine, it is meritorious but not a requirement.

To obtain employment, an extract from the Police's criminal record must be presented. An extract from the suspicion register may also become relevant depending on the position.
