Group Leader for Social Workers LSS/SoL – Tierp Municipality

The Authority Unit has a unit manager, 7 social workers for the Social Services Act (SoL), 2 discharge administrators, and 5 social workers for the Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Disabilities (LSS)/SoL.

Job Responsibilities

Do you want to be part of a dynamic and innovative area of operations? Are you motivated by leading and motivating others? Great, then we might be looking for you as a group leader for social workers LSS/SoL.

As a group leader for social workers within LSS/SoL, you are responsible for daily line management and serve as a close support in the administrators' work. You delegate tasks, provide advice and guidance in complex cases, and ensure that the work maintains high quality and follows current guidelines.

In collaboration with the unit manager, you are responsible for case reviews and case distribution, and you actively work to develop routines, competence, and working methods in the group. The role normally does not involve handling your own cases, which gives room to focus on leadership and operational development.

You also contribute to building work around benefit fraud in collaboration with other professions to strengthen legal security and prevent incorrect payments.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a Bachelor of Social Work degree (210 ECTS credits), or equivalent in older systems. You have experience in authority exercises for the target group in question, as well as a B-driver's license and driving experience. We consider it an advantage if you have previous experience in line management. You need to have a good ability to create and maintain trusting relationships, both in relation to customer meetings as well as internal and external parties.

To handle the different situations that may arise in the work, you also need to be flexible, solution-focused, and enjoy collaborating across operational boundaries with the users' needs in focus. You are a secure person and feel comfortable making independent decisions based on current legislation, while at the same time being sensitive to the work group's need for support and development. Therefore, we will place great emphasis on personal suitability. For this position, an extract from the police record is required. This will only be requested from the final candidate in the last step of the recruitment process.

Employment type: Permanent.
Working hours: Daytime.
