At the Social Services Administration in Enköping Municipality, we work together to help residents who are in difficult and vulnerable life situations in various ways.

We have close leadership and are constantly working actively on the development of the organization. As a foundation for our approach, we have chosen motivational interviewing (MI) for those we serve. Part of our leadership structure is that we work in cross-departmental teams. Enköping's field group is looking for an employee for a fixed-term contract as one of our wonderful employees is going on parental leave.

Do you want to work on crime prevention, safety, and relationship-building with children and young people?

In the field operations, we work preventively and mapping children and young people aged 10–19, their families, and networks. The purpose of field operations is to, together with others, create the best possible conditions for children and young people to develop in a positive direction, but also to support those who need extra support and interventions to get the right help at an early stage.

Field operations are about monitoring the surroundings and promoting safety.

You work both outreach and with systematic collaboration within your own administration as well as with external activities and organizations, such as schools, police, leisure activities, and civil society. The work is scheduled for days and evenings, both weekdays and weekends. You will work physically in the environments where children and young people begin to form their independence and adult identity. That is, on streets and squares, in schools, on youth clubs, sports facilities, and other places where young people are found. The relationships with children and young people are based on voluntariness, trust, and respect.

It is important that you are a person who can function as a bridge-builder between the individual, the family, and society.

You need to see your role in collaboration processes and be confident in making your own decisions in an operation that is in constant change based on identified needs.

We see multilingualism as a very valuable asset together with experience of multicultural work.

A B driver's license is a requirement, just as post-secondary education in the form of behavioral scientist, social worker, police officer, social pedagogue, or equivalent competence.
