Description of duties

You are part of a treatment team that uses the twelve-step philosophy as a foundation, combined with other evidence-based methods such as relapse prevention, MI (Motivational Interviewing), and CRAFT. You meet with adults who have substance use issues (and wish to make a change) and you also meet with relatives. We offer support to relatives of the target group.

Important elements of our treatment include stress-reducing components in the form of Trauma Tapping and Trauma-adapted yoga. We offer group therapy and individual sessions.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified alcohol and drug therapist with a degree. The position also requires training in relapse prevention, MI (Motivational Interviewing), and CRAFT.

You have documented experience of:

• Working individually and in groups based on the twelve-step philosophy.
• Working within outpatient care.
• Working within municipal operations.

As a person, you are outgoing and social in your work. You easily create contact and maintain relationships. Regardless of the situation, you are calm, stable, and you maintain a realistic perspective on the situation while focusing on the right things.

You collaborate well with others and relate to your surroundings in a sensitive and flexible manner. You listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts constructively. In your role, you have the ability to put yourself in someone else's perspective or situation without taking over the person's feelings. You plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively, and adhere to set timeframes.

Uppsala Municipality applies individual and differentiated salary setting according to the current collective agreement.

In your application, you must state your citizenship.
