We are currently looking for a social worker consultant who wants to work with municipalities in the Uppsala region.

Job Description

We need a social secretary/handler for the Child and Youth department. The assignment focuses on motivating clients to accept interventions and following up on these measures. The consultant will independently conduct protective and preliminary assessments, investigate and follow up on interventions according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Law of Care for Young People (LVU), as well as collaborate with guardians, networks, schools, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work (Social Worker)
• Valid car driver's license
• Computer literacy and familiarity with current case management systems
• Clean criminal record (no issues indicating unsuitability for the role)
• At least four years of experience in handling cases within Child and Youth services
• Worked within the authority functions of social services in the last two years, either as an employee or consultant
• Excellent skills in case file management, documentation, compiling investigations, and drafting decisions within the field
• Strong knowledge of the Social Services Act (SoL), Administrative Law, the Law of Care for Young People (LVU), and the Secrecy Act
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Swedish
