About the job as a Personal Assistant

We are now looking for several summer substitutes as personal assistants for customers living in Uppsala.

As a personal assistant, you work closely with a person with a disability in their daily life. You assist and support the person both in everyday life and during leisure time. Your workplace is where the customer is located, and your tasks essentially involve assisting the customer so that they have the conditions to live the life they desire.

We are looking for you who are responsible, receptive, and have an easy time learning new tasks. At Särnmark, you will always receive an introduction at the customer's location as well as access to training regarding the role of a personal assistant.

Tasks

Your tasks depend on the customer's needs and lifestyle. They can range from personal hygiene, assistance with mobility, household chores, cooking, to assisting the customer at work or during activities outside the home.

About the employment

As a substitute, the form of employment is Employment per hour worked and the wage form is hourly wage. Working hours vary depending on the customer's needs: day, evening, night (active and on-call), weekdays, and weekends. For some of the positions, a driver's license and access to a car are required. Salary and other terms of employment are according to the collective agreement for Personal Assistance, Vårdföretagarna - Kommunal.
