We are now looking for a teacher for the General Course, both on-site in Hjo and via distance learning. The subject competencies we are primarily seeking are natural sciences combined with one or more other subjects.

Responsibilities

You will plan and teach classes for the General Course at Hjo Folk High School. The teaching is based on the needs, levels, and wishes of both individuals and groups. Therefore, the position requires creativity and the ability to adapt methods and content in teaching.

As a teacher at the folk high school, you are part of the school's entire operation and are given the opportunity to contribute to the school's joint activities and development with your unique experiences and competencies.

You will be given great opportunities to help shape the future course offerings at Hjo Folk High School.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a folk high school teacher's degree with adequate subject competence or a teacher's degree at the upper secondary level or equivalent. Furthermore, you are flexible, innovative, have good cooperation skills, and are good at planning and organizing your work. You are an engaged and motivating educator and role model. Experience in driving or leading projects is an advantage. Similarly, experience or competence in special education is considered an advantage.

Conditions

The position is a permanent employment with a start date of 2026-08-10 or as agreed. The position is full-time.
