Job Responsibilities

To thrive at Sjöbyskolan, it is important that you are adaptable to different situations and contexts, finding win-win solutions that benefit as many people as possible through a goal-oriented focus on the common objective, free from hierarchy.

You also work with a process-oriented approach, knowing where you and your class are, where you are going, and having clear planning on how to get there together. This means you are also willing to develop and change your own working methods if it is best for the students' results. You organize and plan your work well, complete what has been started, and take responsibility for the common work at the school so that everyday life functions "as well as possible for as many as possible".

You are a secure person who can also handle difficult conversations with both students and guardians. You have the courage to stand up for your and the school's work and can distinguish between matters and personal issues.

You take active initiative in various relationships, such as contact with new students, guardians, and other authorities that may be affected by the school's operations (e.g., social services, special educational needs authorities) or other partners such as teachers and mentors.

You quickly find solutions to emerging problems and contribute to being part of a collegium where collaboration is the most important key to success, and where all students are everyone's students.

Qualifications

• Approved teacher education with a corresponding teaching license (to be attached to the application).
