As a Leisure Time Centre Teacher, you now have the opportunity to join our team and contribute to the well-being and development of our students. We offer a position with great variety and opportunities for development in a school where the primary focus is on high goal achievement, safety, and continuity for the students.
You will be responsible for teaching in the leisure time centre by ensuring that the goals and intentions of the curriculum are realized in the operations. Your main working hours will be in the afternoons, but during mornings you may teach a subject, work in a class, or plan lessons. Your main task within the work team is to lead the leisure time centre mission and drive the systematic quality work currently under development. From the autumn term of 2026, you will work together with a colleague (Leisure Time Centre Teacher or Preschool Teacher) as well as student assistants in a group of approximately 30 students, divided into smaller groups.
We have generous opening hours for our operations. Your working hours involve opening at 06:00 on some days and closing at 18:00 on others. One evening per week, you work until 18:00 or 18:30.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a teacher's degree with a license for Leisure Time Centre teaching. It is meritorious if you have prior knowledge and experience of similar work. Experience working with challenging students within NPF (Neurodevelopmental Disorders), low-affective handling, clarifying pedagogy, and AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) is also meritorious. You must be able to express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish. The position is physically demanding, as heavy lifting may occur.
In your role as a Leisure Time Centre Teacher, you should have good knowledge of the leisure time centre's mission and be well acquainted with the curriculum and other regulatory documents. Based on this, you should have the ability to adapt your teaching to the students and involve them in the design of the teaching. You should consciously create good conditions for the students' development and learning, as well as document this.
To thrive in this role, it is of utmost importance that you have good leadership and collaboration skills, and a flexible attitude towards work and its tasks. Furthermore, we look for someone with a high degree of personal maturity, who is secure and stable both in professional practice and personally. You are skilled at building professional and sustainable relationships with students and guardians. Your new workplace
The adapted primary school in Partille Municipality is located at two primary schools in Öjersjö: Storegård and Brunn. The schools are situated in a very pleasant and expanding area with proximity to both the city and nature. We have a pleasant work environment in modern and purpose-built premises. Currently, we have 83 students in our operations in grades 1-9, and our operations will be expanded in the autumn of 2026.
