The department is responsible for education from preschool to adult education and operates a unique house for young people's active leisure time.

Källeskolan is a centrally located school in Skara with approximately 300 students. The school has a well-established student health team that works across the entire school area to create an equitable school where all students are given the conditions to achieve good results. We are now looking for teachers for grades 4-6.

The role involves

Your duties involve teaching at Källeskolan with placement in grades 4-6.

You are responsible for planning, implementing, developing, monitoring, and evaluating teaching in accordance with the Swedish National Curriculum for Compulsory School, Preschool Class and the After-School Centre (Lgr22) and other governing documents. The work is carried out both individually and in collaboration with colleagues, students, and guardians to create a safe and developmental environment for the students. We want the teaching to be interesting and inspiring for our students so that they have the opportunity to reach the goals of the education.

Who are you?

You need to have a good ability to coordinate and plan together with your colleagues. We are looking for you who want to work together and contribute to a clear team spirit. You work to create a positive learning situation with a focus on promoting good health where all students are given the opportunity to succeed based on their conditions. In consultation with the student health team, you also work to ensure that relevant measures are taken for students in need of additional support. We believe that your ability to create good relationships combined with good subject knowledge is a success factor for getting our students to succeed.

Qualifications

• Licensed teacher, qualified to teach in grades 4-6 in the subjects Swedish and Social Studies.
• Have a creative ability, think new, and dare to take initiative.
• Be a secure pedagogical leader.
• Have good ability to structure, plan, organize, and follow up on the pedagogical work based on the existing governing documents.
• Have good ability to create respectful relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Great importance is attached to personal suitability.

Terms of Employment

The employment is permanent, full-time with holiday service, with an start date of 2026-09-14 or as agreed.
