We are looking for you who want to be part of a learning organization focused on school development and collegial learning. In your role, you take responsibility for ensuring that every student succeeds based on their prerequisites, and that all students are met with high expectations and teaching adapted to them.
Partille Adapted Primary School is a unit where development work takes a large place. We have a comprehensive systematic quality work with focus areas such as communicative accessibility, increased accessibility in teaching, after-school center development, and the development of students' independence. The work is characterized by low-affective handling, clarifying pedagogy, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
You will work in all of the school's operations, which also include an after-school activity. You will work in a team together with special needs teachers, after-school teachers, and student assistants. In addition to this team, there is close collaboration with habilitation staff and the student health team. In adapted primary school, the special needs teacher is ultimately responsible for the class, and you as a preschool teacher are responsible for planning, teaching, and assessment in a subject area based on the adapted primary school curriculum's subject orientation, or to be responsible for teaching in the after-school center by contributing to the realization of the curriculum's goals and intentions in the activity. In your role, you work to stimulate and challenge the students' development and learning by providing conditions for security and study peace during the students' stay at school. Walks and outdoor play are on the schedule and are an important part of the students' school day.
Mentorship for 1–2 students may be included in the role.
We have generous opening hours for our operations, and your working hours mean opening at 06:00 on some days and closing at 18:00 on other days. One evening a week, you work until 18:30.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a preschool teacher degree with a license for younger ages. It is meritorious if you have knowledge of and experience from similar work previously. It is also meritorious if you have experience working with challenging and outgoing students within NPF (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) and low-affective handling, clarifying pedagogy, and AAC. The position is physically demanding as heavy lifting may occur among other things.
You need to be able to express yourself well in the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
You have an inclusive perspective and the ability to see how the individual student's needs can best be met. You see development work as a natural part of the teaching job and want to collaborate with the school's other pedagogues. You are goal- and result-oriented, have good leadership qualities, and have a holistic view. Through a conscious approach, you create security, trust, and good relationships. You have the ability to be a qualified conversation partner in pedagogical issues for colleagues, parents, and other concerned parties. You are idea-rich and stimulated by challenges, are flexible, and have an easy time collaborating. Furthermore, we see that you have a high degree of personal maturity, that you are secure and stable both in your professional practice and in your person. Naturally, you share Partille Municipality's values: Equal value for all, professionalism, and forward-looking spirit.
