Floby School F-3 and Odensberg School F-6 are now looking for an engaged and confident special needs teacher/pedagogue who wants to help develop an accessible, inclusive, and relationship-building school.

What can we offer you?

As a special needs teacher/pedagogue, you become a key person in the principal's area of student health work. Together with school leadership, class teachers, subject teachers, and other student health professionals, you work to create the best possible conditions for each student's development.

You work on an individual, group, and organizational level and actively contribute to the school's special pedagogical development.

Your tasks include, among other things:

• Mapping, analyzing, and following up on students' need for support
• Designing, implementing, and following up on extra adjustments and special support
• Preparing and evaluating action plans
• Contributing to the development of inclusive teaching and learning environments
• Being a qualified conversation partner for teachers, mentors, and school leadership
• Actively participating in the school's student health team and systematic quality work

We are looking for you who are confident in your profession and have a genuine commitment to students in need of support. You build trusting relationships, meet students with empathy and clarity, and have a strong belief in every student's ability to succeed.

You are:

• Receptive, relationship-building, and professional
• Flexible and solution-oriented in changing situations
• Structured and independent with good prioritization skills
• Communicative and confident in collaboration with students, guardians, and colleagues

Great importance is attached to personal suitability and your ability to contribute to a positive and professional work climate.

Qualifications:

• Special needs education degree or special teacher degree, as well as teaching certification
• Experience working with students in need of special support is meritorious
• Experience teaching Swedish, English, or mathematics in grades 1–9 is meritorious

The position may potentially be filled internally if an excess of competence is identified within the organization, in which case this recruitment will be terminated.

If you are offered employment, you must present a current extract from the National Police Board's criminal record register for work in schools or preschools in Sweden (RPS 442.5 2008-06-18/1).
