The school serves students from preschool class (F-0) to grade six. At our school, our core values of respect, care, and responsibility permeate the entire operation. Together with the students, we actively work based on these values through the PALS school model. Hökerums School has an after-school center with four departments. We also have a department in Nitta for after-school activities in the mornings every school day.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work as a class teacher together with a colleague. As a teacher, you plan, conduct, and follow up on teaching, adapting to the needs of individual students. The role includes good documentation of students' knowledge development and active work with core values together with colleagues. Based on current regulatory documents and using formative assessment as a method, you work to ensure that all students develop as much as possible. Teaching and planning take place both individually and together with the work team, in accordance with current regulatory documents. With the help of support structures, various learning tools, and a thoughtful physical environment, you work to increase accessibility in the learning environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher for grades F-3 or 4-6, preferably with the qualification to teach Social Studies (SO), Swedish, Mathematics, and English. We place great emphasis on your view of students' different prerequisites for learning and your positive attitude towards adapting teaching to individual needs.

You have a good ability to naturally and professionally create secure relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. Since collaboration is a central part of the school's work, high demands are placed on good collaboration skills and clear communication. You have high expectations for both your own and the students' development and adapt teaching based on each student's ability. Your working method is structured, clear, and predictable.

You work with a clear goal in mind and continuously strive to develop the quality of the operation. You can work independently and have the ability to create a structured, secure, and developmental learning environment for the students. As a person, you are flexible and adapt easily to changed conditions. You are receptive, quality-conscious, and are happy to contribute ideas and new approaches to the pedagogical development work.
