Responsibilities

We are currently strengthening our organization with a special education teacher. At Timmersdala School, we have 144 students this autumn and a stable workforce. Your employment covers both Timmersdala and Lerdala schools, but your main assignment during the autumn term of 2026 will be at Timmersdala School. Our special needs educator looks forward to strengthening the special pedagogical competence together with us and others at the schools.

You will work to provide support, adjustments, and instruction for students in grades F-6 that promote knowledge development and goal achievement in Swedish and mathematics. The role involves close collaboration with teachers, student health services, and guardians, as well as a flexible working method based on the needs of the operations and students. You must be able to prioritize and adapt the work according to current needs in the operation, be ready to quickly switch between different tasks, student groups, and working methods. You should be able to work both preventively, remedially, and consultatively, have a solution-focused and creative approach, and feel confident collaborating with different professions and building good relationships.

Qualifications

It is desirable that you have a teaching license with eligibility to teach in grades F-6 or equivalent, as well as a special education teacher degree with specialization in language, writing, and reading development or mathematical development.
