About the Role

Lyckan Preschool is one of the city's most sought-after preschools. At our center, preschool teachers and childcare assistants are jointly engaged in developing the preschool's mission and education. Preschool teachers and childcare assistants are present, attentive, curious, and interested in the children's feelings, thoughts, reflections, and theories.

We know that trusting relationships are the most important protective factor for ensuring safety and good care, which form the foundation for children's development, learning, health, and well-being. We are now looking for a preschool teacher who wants to be part of offering the children at Lyckan Preschool a meaningful, educational, and joyful time.

Our learning environment is dynamic, challenges and inspires children to develop and learn, and takes its starting point in the children's interests and individual prerequisites. For us, it is important to have a clear and accessible environment where clarifying pedagogy and visual support are second nature. The education is permeated by creativity and a focus on development. Preschool teachers and childcare assistants are curious about investigating and systematically improving their practice, based on current research and proven experience, to constantly create better conditions for children to learn and develop.

The preschool has access to a special education teacher and a counselor who work preventively and promotively, as well as providing guidance and support to both work teams and individual employees to create good conditions for all children.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed preschool teacher and have a mission-conscious approach and a burning interest in children's learning. You are engaged and courageous in your professional role. You have clear leadership both in relation to children and colleagues. As a preschool teacher, you are expected to lead the work together with your colleagues, systematically plan, implement, analyze, and evaluate the pedagogical work in the preschool. You should be well-acquainted with the preschool's governing documents.

You reflect on your work and contribute to the preschool's development and systematic quality work. You document the work at the group and individual level and use this as a basis for reflection, discussion, and can take advantage of the children's interests and needs in the activity. The "good meeting" lies as the foundation for our activity and should permeate the entire activity and teaching. We expect you to have a curiosity and drive to continuously investigate and develop your own practice by connecting it to proven experience and research. You enjoy challenges and work from a solution-focused approach. We value flexibility, joy, and a high level of commitment to the mission. We place great emphasis on personal suitability!
