About the Workplace: Bogesundsskolan

Bogesundsskolan is a grades F–6 school located in central Ulricehamn. We are a school with approximately 460 students, with two or three parallel classes in each grade level, as well as three after-school care departments. Here, you have the opportunity to work in teams alongside qualified and experienced staff.

Job Responsibilities

Do you want to make a difference every day? We are looking for you who want to strengthen our students' opportunities to succeed both academically and socially.

As a special educator or special pedagogue at Bogesundsskolan, you will become an important part of our resource team and student health team. Together, we work to ensure that every student receives the right support, develops, and reaches their goals based on their prerequisites. In this role, you work closely with students in their daily lives, while collaborating closely with guardians, mentors, and other colleagues. You provide support both in daily work and in the school's long-term development regarding inclusion and accessible learning environments.

You will help drive and develop the school's work with extra adaptations and special support. Your duties include, among other things, conducting screenings and assessments, carrying out pedagogical investigations and evaluations, as well as drawing up, following up, and evaluating action plans and other interventions.

Requirements and Qualifications

Requirements: Degree in Special Pedagogy or Special Education.

Meritorious experience:

  • Investigative and documentation work.
  • Logos assessment/evaluation.
  • Experience meeting students with needs for various forms of special support.

You have good collaboration skills and contribute to an open and constructive work climate by listening, communicating clearly, and handling conflicts in a solution-focused manner. You are driven by seeing students develop and reach their goals, and you have a strong commitment to meeting each student's individual needs.

You are structured in your work and have good ability to plan, organize, and prioritize effectively. Both as a person and in your professional role, you are calm, secure, and stable. You have good relational competence and the ability to set boundaries, while also being able to distinguish between the personal and the professional in your role. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
