RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a Special Needs Teacher (possibly two) who wants to join us on the exciting journey of launching Skövde's new upper secondary school, Science City School, with a planned start for the 2027/2028 academic year.

The position is initially located at the upper secondary level of Eriksdalskolan, where we currently have approximately 160 students and a warm, competent staff group consisting of teachers, student assistants, student health services, principal, and deputy principal. You will be part of our student health team, which includes a special needs pedagogue, counselor, school nurse, psychologist, speech therapist, and additional special needs teachers. The student health team meets every week to plan student health work at both strategic and operational levels. The special needs pedagogue and special needs teachers also meet weekly to detail-plan the teaching.

Together, we have already begun the work of shaping the new school, and we are now looking for a colleague who wishes to contribute with both engagement and innovative thinking.

Special Needs Teacher or certified Teacher with experience in special needs education.
