Marbäck School has approximately 80 students, from preschool class to grade 6. In addition to the classes up to grade 6, there is also an after-school center. The school area includes administrative support and a student health team consisting of a special education needs coordinator, special needs teacher, school nurse, and counselor. Job Description

We are looking for a teacher for grades 3-4 at Marbäck School to collaborate in a two-teacher model.

As a teacher, you plan, implement, and follow up on teaching together with a colleague and the work team, adapting to the needs of individual students. The role includes good documentation of students' knowledge development and active values-based work together with all school staff. Based on current guidelines and using formative assessment as a method, you work to ensure that all students develop as much as possible. The position may also involve participation in one of the school's working groups.

A student health team with a special education needs coordinator, special needs teacher, counselor, and school nurse is available for support.

Qualifications

You who apply for the position are a certified teacher and have the qualifications to teach in grades 4-6. Broad subject qualifications are meritorious. Particularly meritorious are the subjects Science (NO) and/or Music. Previous experience working in primary school is also considered an advantage. We would like you to have good knowledge of and experience with digital tools. A B-category driver's license is required for the position.

As a teacher in the Gällstad school area, you need to be independent and responsible. You have an inclusive approach and can contribute to a strong sense of "we," both in student groups and collegially. You have a clear focus on quality in your work, are solution-oriented, and positive. You have the ability to capture students' interest and thereby create challenging and stimulating teaching.

Since you will become part of a smaller staff, you need to be flexible and solution-oriented within the organization. Furthermore, you find it easy to collaborate with your colleagues and see the benefits of cross-age and cross-subject collaborations. In dealing with students, you are calm, secure, and patient. We see that you have a low-affective approach when meeting young people, are a clear leader and role model, and have a good ability to build relationships with children and young people.
